Hatcher mountain recently had a huge fire that tragically burned many cabins and homes in the area. fortunately people are rebuilding but that means that there is construction going on in the area. There is currently a cabin being built up the road from us and you can expect some construction sounds and traffic. **Construction of additional cabin on backside of property-may result in construction activity during your stay** **Long steep driveway to access cabin- 2 wheel drive vehicles okay- During Snow may require chains or 4 wheel drive** **Road to cabin has some narrow and tight turns-use caution**

While we are close to the Pigeon Forge attractions, you will definitely need a car to get around. Uber and Lyft are available to reach your destination if you don't want to drive, but the best way is to have a designated driver or call a cab.
